INGENIO-DQ: Data Quality Assessment for a Precision Medicine Data Model Using an International Common Framework
INGENIO is a precision medicine research project focused on collecting and harmonizing cancer data from multiple institutions through a common REDCap-based Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system. To ensure data validity and standardization, a real-world data quality assessment methodology based on the i~HD framework was implemented. Evaluation of 317 cases manually entered at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre between December 2022 and October 2024 showed high data quality, with approximately 95% completeness and 100% consistency, demonstrating that the EDC model was effectively designed and validated according to international standards.
